ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS
Interactive Communications: The IACT communication program is a multimedia presentation that uses graphics, animation and morphing to educate our patient's during their initial exam. We have found combining a verbal message, with powerful visuals, provides an educational and effective understanding of orthodontic concepts and various modalities of treatment.
Quick Ceph Imaging: The most advanced radiographic computer technology, Quick Ceph Imaging is a powerful tool we use to capture a digital image of your face, dentition and radiographs.
UP-TO-DATE STERILIZATION SYSTEMS
When you visit our office you can relax knowing that the safety of our patients is a primary concern. Our sterilization techniques and barrier controls are designed to meet and exceed all guidelines established by OSHA and the CDC. Our instruments are dry-heat and/or autoclave sterilized between every patient. Single-use/disposable items are used whenever possible and discarded after each use and an independent outside biological monitoring service verifies our sterilization techniques. You can relax and rest assured that everything is clean/sterile in our office.
STATE-OF-THE-ART APPLIANCE SYSTEMS
MBT Bracket System: This revolutionary coordinated appliance system of brackets, archwires and bands is developed by American Orthodontics; a leader in orthodontic products. This system brings our orthodontic treatment to a new level of clinical performance to help us achieve more predictable results and an ideal occlusion (bite). We absolutely do not recycle our brackets!
Ceramic Bracket Systems: Clarity™ Metal Reinforced Ceramic Brackets is developed by 3M Unitek. These clear brackets are virtually invisible, and a great treatment options for patients concerned about esthetics during their orthodontic care.
Nickel-Titanium Archwires: These wires were developed for the space program but have been very effective for orthodontic use. Nickel-Titanium wires create a continuous light force during orthodontic movement enabling teeth to move faster and more effectively with less discomfort to our patients than stainless steel wires. The result is shorter, predictable treatment times and reduced adjustment appointments to achieve our treatment goals.
Forsus: The Forsus™ System is an excellent way to avoid the hassle of wearing a headgear and reduces the need for cooperation with elastic rubber bands. This appliance has been very effective in promoting lower jaw growth in pubertal adolescents and can prevent the need for jaw surgery.
The combination of all these advance appliance system have allowed teeth to move quicker, and more predictably with less discomfort; resulting in fewer adjustment appointment and shorter treatment times, to achieve our treatment objectives.
STATE-OF-THE-ART ADHESIVE SYSTEMS
Each bracket is placed individually with a light activated adhesive, which requires a special light to harden the cement. A major advantage to this system, over chemical cure, is a virtually unlimited working time to precisely place each bracket on a tooth before the cement is set. Proper bracket placement is absolutely essential to achieving an ideal result.
Transbond™ Plus Glass Ionomer Band Cement: Glass Ionomer cement has demonstrated in clinical studies to be the best cement for retention of molar bands. The cement also has the ability to release fluoride for many months, which helps protect a tooth, both around and underneath; from decalcification.
RETENTION SYSTEM
Bonded Lower Retainer: The majority of relapse, which occurs after the braces are removed, is usually across the lower front teeth. For the most part, this is due to poor cooperation using the lower removable retainer. We take the cooperation out of having to wear a lower retainer by permanently bonding a lower wire to the back of the lower anterior teeth. The lower retainer is invisible, comfortable to wear and easy to clean and floss.
Removable Retainer: If a nice bite is established and the lower teeth remain stable, they will help prevent the upper teeth from shifting. We have our patients wear the retainer for 12 hours a day in order to insure stability of the teeth.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
OPMS Practice Management System: This Windows-based system assures every patient's visit to our office is efficiently managed from patient sign-in to making an appointment for your next visit.
HouseCalls TM: HouseCalls is an automated computer software program that calls and confirms your orthodontic appointment the night before. We realize that families are very busy and a little reminder is just another service we provide for our patients.
Appointment Slip: At the time of check-out each patient will receive an appointment slip as a reminder for their next appointment and school excuse.
Automatic Debit: For your convenience we offer automatic bank draft to simplify monthly fees. This saves you time and eliminates the need for printing, mailing and cost incurred from postage.
Patient Sign-in: Our patients never wait in our reception area, but are instructed at their first appointment to check-in, brush and immediately seat themselves in our treatment area. We know your time is valuable and it will never be spent waiting for your or your child's adjustment appointment.

Follow-up phone calls: We routinely call our patients after key appointments just to ensure you or your child is doing well and let you know that we do truly care about your experience with our office.

Contests: We run quarterly contests to make each visit to our office fun. Prizes such as gift certificates to movie theater passes are awarded to our contest winners.
